Funds wait for an agreed condition
The parties first define what needs to happen: delivery, access handover or acceptance of a service. Once an eligible arrangement is agreed, the buyer funds the provider named in the order. Release to the seller depends on the agreed conditions.
A good deal starts with clear expectations
What exactly will the buyer receive? How long is the inspection period? What happens if goods are damaged or work differs from the brief? We address those questions before funding so both parties understand the outcome.
- Conditions for releasing funds
- Result inspection period
- Refund and dispute procedure
A fee tailored to the transaction
The fee is an agreed percentage based on the amount, subject and complexity of verification. The amount, provider and parties’ responsibilities are recorded before payment. Escrow controls settlement conditions; it does not itself deliver the goods.
Before you order
A few important details
Can escrow be added after paying the seller?
Arrange escrow before money changes hands. A payment already sent directly to the seller does not become protected automatically.
What happens if there is a dispute?
The parties supply the agreed evidence and funds are released or returned under the agreed procedure. The dispute process and timeframes should be clear before funding.
